DAY #5:
Well, yesterday was an interesting day. I had to teach a spin class last night and also my 8 a,m. "30 Minute Miracle." All those extra calories burned needed some extra fuel. One of my doctor friends who specializes in utilizing hcg as a weight loss product for his patients told me about one of his male clients. This client also burned alot of extra calories and would eat some "extra" to make up for the deficit he so drastically burned while in hcg. He still lost all the weight he wanted to! I thought I would experiment with myself yesterday so I ate a "Humphrey Yogart." An amazing, yet very low fat yummy frozen yogurt with bananas, strawberries, pineapple and granola and a drizzle of honey. I stil lost weight! Wahoo! Today, I lifted weights and did the new, amazing DVD, "Brazil Butt Lift." Intense, but more like body sculpting. Also, Dr. Simeons says occasionally you can trade out 100 grams (1/2 cup) of lowfat, skim milk cottage cheese as your other protein. I did that tonight since I didnt have anything else on hand. Hope it works in the morning! Made the kids a yummy chicken sausage pasta tonight and did have a couple bites. We'll see if I created a big enough deficit in calories burned to make up for it. Until tomorrow...night night!

Monday, January 2, 2012
Woke up with the Scripture in my head found in Psalm 144-last verse, "Happy (blessed, fortunate, to be envied) is the man or woman whose God is the Lord (Boss)." Lord does mean Boss and I want Him to be the Boss of my life.
I thanked my body out loud today for being so great and resilient and a true Gift to me. I told my body how I appreciated it. This may sound cooky to alot of people but how many times a day do we speak negative or think negative to and about ourselves and think nothing of it? Why not change that around and begin to speak-audibly, life giving words to ourselves? We wonder why we can't get along with people let alone even like them. It's because of the lack of love we have for ourselves. The all wise words of Jesus to "love our neighbor as we (in the same way) love ourselves." Not possible if there is no love for ourselves to start with. And that's not possible until we are in a loving, right relationship with God.
When these words take root in our hearts and grow-we will CHANGE.
Amazing how a few extra pounds will cause my knees to ache and swell and my face, fingers and body feel puffy. I don't want to do that to myself anymore. Refined sugar and artificial food is evil-literally. Poison to our bodies. No more.
I am so looking forward to the first good drop tomorrow yet thankful for a great, overcoming day!
Good night, blog world!
Sunday, January 1, 2012
Well, I haven't been in blogging land for quite some time now!
Just heard a very inspiring message about the power of our thoughts and words. I will only look forward and profess for 2012 that:
"My body weighs what it should.
I am God's creation.
I am WHOLE: spirit, soul and body.
I am filled with the joy of the Lord and live in contentment no matter the circumstances.
I love God with ALL my heart, soul, mind and strength (body) and so therefore, my words are like the Proverbs 31 woman where the "law of kindness was found on her lips."
I am prosperous, blessed, healthy, thin and live in the favor of God!
I live a disciplined, balanced life and possess self control in abundance.
I am a Godly woman, not an emotional one.
My body is God's temple and I love, cherish and nourish it, and am so thankful for it.
Every inch of my body lives in absolute health.
I will lose this weight now, without difficulty and forever keep it off.
My body cannot keep one excess pound on it!
My body craves the proper nourishment and has no tolerance for any garbage.
My appetite is healthy and normal and I feed most importantly on the Word of God.
I am satisfied and find my worth and delight in Father God: not food, people (or their opinions-good or bad), possessions, my size or my accomplishments.
I am a soul-winner and effective in the Kingdom of God!
I have and walk in power, love and a sound mind.
I have more than enough and lack no good thing.
I enjoy a fantastic marriage, influencing and helping many others enjoy the same.
I am a loving, kind, thoughtful wife and a wise, nurturing and confident mother.
What's important to God is what's important to me."
I am sure I will add to this declaration in later posts but for now, I encourage any reader to declare what they desire instead of speaking the negative. Profess into the atmosphere your desired future, not your regrets of the past!

143.4 Lbs.
Well, Hallelujah! That stubborn weight gain finally came off! I took a little more Hcg yesterday which I have found to be helpful when you have a stall.
Even though I am such a numbers oriented goal girl, last night was my last dose of Hcg. I am coming off despite my 3.4 pounds to go. It's all good, though, because I am desperately needing some cooking time in my kitchen as I am preparing maintenance foods for my wonderful clients and experimenting myself for the holidays! Size 4 Joe's jeans is just fine with me-Ha! Hopefully, some more will still come off in these last 3 days of being on the VLCD.
3 days still on the VLCD left to go with today as Day 1. I have failed in the past by experiencing weight gain by not sticking to this rule of staying on the VLCD for 3 days after taking the HCG. It is crucial as it is still in your system.
It amazes me how this diet works. I met with a client yesterday who didn't drop a huge amount from the scale in 40 days but it hugely came off in her inches! She went from a size 10 to a size 4 and lost 21 1/2 inches in 40 days! WOW! We must remind ourselves often that Dr. Simeons' manual is called "Pounds AND Inches." It is both! What you may not see on the scale in numbers, you will see in inches! That's the proof in the pudding, folks!

145.6 Pounds
Okay, I have no clue what happened! The only thing I can think of is that I drank alot of unsweet tea yesterday and not enough water. Also, I stayed up real late on my feet cleaning house which probably explains why I felt swollen this morning. Praying for a BIG drop tomorrow!
So funny...took my kids to a little fall festival thing tonight where we could dress up. Can't believe I was able to wear my 8TH GRADE CHEERLEADING OUTFIT! What could you cheat and eat that would be worth being able to say THAT?! Yahoo!

144.4 LBS.
Yay! So close to my goal of 140! I have taken Apple Cider Vinegar today with "The Mother" in it. You dilute in a cup of warm water and add some stevia to it if you wish. Proven to aid in weight loss plus it's great for your digestion and a good "pick me up!"
Been experimenting in my kitchen today for all my clients who are about to go on "maintenance." I am SO excited I get to introduce them to the chocolate banana pecan bread I made tonight and the YUMMO pumpkin squares! My sweet darlings, my daughter, Lily Grace(4 1/2) and my son, River(6) sat on the counter in their aprons the whole time and were my very important "taste testers." When the pumpkin squares came out, River gobbled up 3! Lily licked the banana bread batter and said, "More!"
Can you really eat that on Maintenance knowing the rule is no starches, no sugars for 3 weeks? Oh, yes! Perhaps this is my new calling in life-to show others how they can reward themselves (after they have worked so hard to get the weight off through HCG) by simply "tweaking" a few things in their pantry yet still having the most amazing, YUMMY results and no extra pounds put on! PLUS, the wonderful benefit of being healthy for life!
Can I really let my 6 year old son have THREE pumpkin squares so close to his bedtime tonight? Absolutely(!) when I know what's in them is SOOOO good for him!
Night-night...

LAST LITTLE BIT...!
145.6 lbs.
Okay, so Looong time since I've blogged! I am now an HCG WHOLE Life Coach and have 15 clients across the country! Hallelujah! I am so stunned and blessed for this awesome opportunity and responsibility God has so blessed me with!
I take each and every person so seriously because they are made in the image of God and their life COUNTS!
I wanted to go back on HCG for a bit to always stay "in touch" with what my clients-my friends, are feeling and to be at my own goal of 140! That would really be nice. So, that's my goal-140.
So funny getting a pair of jeans the other day...unless they're in normal sizes, I don't know what a 28, 29, etc. is. Normal sizes, please. So, I'm leaving Nordstrom Rack with a pair of Joe's jeans (a true designer jean) so I know there will be no "fudging" on the size. Whatever they are will really be what they are-no stretching or spandex involved. The girl at the counter was a friend of mine and as I was leaving, I called out to her on my way out the door,"So what does a size 27 translate to in a normal size?" Without hesitation, she called out, "That's a size 4!"
I about ran into the glass door! A 4!!! Honey, the only time a 4 has been involved in my jeans has been with a 1 in front of it! I just couldn't believe it! Even now, as a coach, it is still hard to believe!
So for those of you reading this-it is SO WORTH IT! Don't cheat. Every day you stay consistent you are getting closer to your own "jean testimony!"
STAY STRONG! When your strength runs out-ask God for His! He promises we can trade Him our weakness for HIS Strength!

A few days at once...
Okay, so like my last entry said, I did come off a few days to be on phase 3 awhile because because I was feeling weak & hungry despite still taking the HCG. The HCG coaching manual says this may happen if your body is done losing abnormal fat or if you're developing an immunity to the HCG. It's better to come off for a while. Also, anyone who may be reading this, learn from my mistake and be a DAILY WEIGHER! Also, I put on a few because I didn't stay on the VLCD for the 3 days after taking my last dose. I have learned my mistake and won't do it again this time when I come off because the gain is not worth it! Here's my weighs:
Yesterday, I had the HCG cookbook recipe for French Onion soup and it was so yummy! Can't believe I've been missing it all this time! I used liquid smoke in place of the Worchestire sauce b/c mine had sugar in it. Feel fine, no real hunger pains. Like my friend, Bonnie Shores, told me a long time ago (and I have never forgotten it), you must know the difference between a genuine hunger pang or just your tummy feeling a bit empty. Drink some hot coffee or tea if it's the latter or some chicken broth w/ a bit of minced onion & seasonings.

DAY 14: 153.6 lbs.
Hallelujah! I am happy there was not a huge gain. I wanted to write this Scripture down from Hebrews 10:36 which says,"For you have need of endurance..." This word endurance in the Greek is so powerful. It means constancy, perseverance, continuance, bearing up, steadfastness, holding out, patient endurance. The word combines "under" and "to remain." It describes the capacity to continue to bear up under difficult circumstances, not with a passive complacency, but with a hopeful fortitude that actively resists weariness and defeat. I claim that to resist weariness!!

DAY 13: 153.4 lbs.
Yes! I was happy with this almost pound loss. I am so close and don't want to quit now but with me being so hungry and feeling weak yesterday, I did something a bit different today. In a manual that drugdelivery.ca sent me, it gives some tips for the HCG-er. It says you can occasionally add an egg or a few raw almonds if you're feeling weak. Well, I admit, I probably overhauled it today. I had 2 scrambled eggs this morning w/ 2 veggie protein (Morningstar) "sausage" patties. Haven't had anything else all day. We'll see in the morning. Awww, forget it. I had some difficulty tonight in a meeting regarding some personal financial decisions. I must have been upset b/c the next thing I know, I'm eating a bowl of pasta which was my kids & hubby's dinner! Oh, God, like Hebrews 10, yes! I need endurance!! Grant me your endurance. With your help, I shall not be moved! I pray crop failure in my body tonight and the fresh mercy and grace of God to show on the scale in the morning! Yes, I'm crazy enough to pray it!

DAY 12: 154.2 lbs.
I will say I was disappointed with this number today. I have felt hungry all day and according to my research, I could be feeling this way because I need more protein or need a break from the hcg. Every body is different and according to the manual, HCG will stop working when it's pulled all the fat from your stores it's going to pull. Yes, I have a number stuck in my head of 147 but I'm a size 6ish:) right now and I'm fine with it. I think, of course, being my own worst critic, I certainly see where more fat can go. We'll just see what the scale says tomorrow. I am believing for a big drop!!!
Wednesday, March 24, 2010
DAY 11: 154.8 lbs.
You know, this type of race is not won by quitting but getting back up again and again. In this recovery, I just got so tired of being in the house! Beef O' Brady's has Tues. Night kids eat free night. We went there and they have the best reuben-I won't say anymore. Drinking a ton of water to try to flush out some extra junk. I'm gonna win this race with some skinned knees from falling down, that's for sure, but I WILL WIN through CHRIST's enabling power!
Tuesday, March 23, 2010
DAY 10: 154.6 lbs.
Yay! Continuing to stay focused to get this last bit off. I have been taking a Tbsp. of apple cider vinegar diluted in warm water for the past 3 days. Think that's worth noting. For all you Chick-fil-A lovers, my hubby buys me a gallon of Diet Lemonade at a time and I dilute it a bit with some water and pour over ice for a tasty treat. Definitely has helped.

DAY 7 THRU 9
Okay, shoot! I have forgotten to blog the last couple days!
DAY 7: Friday, March 19th: 158 lbs.
DAY 8: Saturday, March 20th: 159.4 lbs-I was weak here. Hubby got me out of the house for a bit during my recovery and wanted to go out to eat. It was a place in Athens we've been wanting to try called Transmetropolitan that's supposed to have the best pizza. BAD mistake for me. Just until the end of this thing, I am not going to subject myself to going out to eat. You must know your boundaries and not step outside! So close! Need the staying power of God to overcome and finish this thing! Thank You,God, that You overcame in the flesh and have given me the SAME overcoming power! I still believe for supernatural amounts of losses from this time on.
DAY 9: Sunday, March 21st: 157.4 lbs. Praise GOD!
