DAY 13: 182.4lbs.
Don't get the .4 gain but I am not complaining after yesterday! Did notice when I woke up this morning that my rings were tight, so I think it's water retention. Drank lots of water today-we'll see. Had one of the yummiest dinner so far-beef tacos! Sooo good! Used organic buffalo meat b/c it's so lean and seasonings ,a few chopped onions and tons of cilantro and rolled it up w/ romaine leaves. Really good. Also took another spin class tonight and did my 100 push ups and sit ups. I want to see if this will make a difference in tomorrow's weigh b/c the day before I was in meetings and pretty sedentary. Had a cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea w/ vanilla creme stevia and I will say it is quite good and filling. Baked apples for breakfast and baked fish on asparagus for lunch. A big summer strawberry spritzer in the afternoon. Prepared ahead and made cookbook's marinara which I am planning to cover on a piece of fish for lunch tomorrow. Already wanting it. I have to say that it is so great preparing stuff so FRESH. NOTHING compares to fresh. Quite satisfying to the taste buds and b/c I made the sauce in my magic bullet w/ grape sized tomatoes (no chopping), it was super fast. I'm gonna let all the spices mix together in the fridge tonight and I will cook it tomorrow. All in all, a good day. Made homemade strawberry freezer jam today and was a bit challenging not to even have one lick of the spoon!

DAY 12: 182lbs.
4 pounds down! 4!!!!!!!!!!!! I was astounded when I weighed this morning. I keep wondering if it had anything to do with the slightly increased dosage but particularly that I taught my spin class last night and did those wall push ups and sit ups. Since I began the diet, I haven't done that strenuous of a workout until last night. I am going to keep doing it! So totally excited but really tired. Goodnight.

DAY 11: 186.0 lbs.
2.8 lbs gone! Elated about this loss! Praise the Lord! We did go buy a new scale and it was only .2 off, so this was a GENUINE loss. I will say that I read an article by a pharmacist that said to take a little more HCG only if you are still hungry and/or not seeing the results. I did take an extra dose before I went to bed last night b/c I definitely am still hungry and certainly wasn't seeing pleasing results. So, this morning instead of 1/2ml, I took 3/4 ml and also this evening. I taught my spin class tonight and did 4 sets of 25 reps of wall push ups and deep crunches on the yoga ball. Interesting that I did not feel I had to hold back in my class. Went full throttle and didn't feel pooped! Curious what the scale will have to say in the morning about this workout. Also have noticed lots of energy and no "sluggishness."
This is the first day I am actually able to tell a bit of loss in my own body. My waist seems a bit smaller, some ugly back fat dissipating and my tennis shoes were looser...go figure!
SOOOO encouraged today and actually excited about the recipes I've been using from the online cookbook. Have had the spicy thai cucumber salad 2 days in a row now (yum) and of course, am sitting here sipping my summer strawberry spritzer. Great day and cause for rejoicing although I know the JOY of the LORD is my ultimate strength, no diet success!

DAY 10: 188.8lbs.
Definitely thankful to be "down," but still wondering what is up with the slow progress? My husband is going to get me a new scale b/c I have to weigh on mine 3 times to get an accurate reading. The first 2 times the numbers are different. Wouldn't that be totally awesome if I've been upset these last few days over a malfunctioning scale? Oh, please let that be the answer!
Had a birthday party for my sister today and did not cheat at all! Prepared all my food and brought it with me. I have 4 chattering, sisters and of course, they wanted to know what the heck I was doing. Oh well, not time yet for the "revealing." Especially since I need to see better results. My jeans were looser today so that is definitely a plus. At the birthday party some icing was flicked on my finger from a very YUMMY cake! I just wiped it off. You know, it is rewarding to put the flesh under. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit that I want to hang off of my branches in every area. Boy, am I learning it in this one! Now, if I can just get my emotions under control. I don't want this daily weigh in thing to put me in a funk if it's not the results I am hoping for on any given day. My wonderful husband-he just keeps staying encouraging;what a gift from God he is to me. Well, night-night.
