PHASE 3: MONDAY: 170 lbs.
Nope, nope, nope. This will just not work! Taught a H2O class this morning and a spin class this evening, plus did arm weights. Hopefully, the scale will be down tomorrow. I simply cannot gain! Haven't been eating sugars and starches. Have eaten cheese and no sugar vegenaise (so good). Yummy ribs with no sugar seasoning...Need to probably carefully watch amounts of what I'm eating, stopping when not quite full.

PHASE 3: Friday -Sunday/July 3rd-5th
Okay, sorry for the multiple blog but have stayed up so late each night...
WEIGHS:
Friday-167.6 lbs.
Saturday-168.2 lbs.
Sunday-169 lbs.
I was so happy to see my final weigh as 167 lbs after the last day of being on the VLCD. I thoroughly enjoyed my bacon and eggs Friday morning. My date w/ hubby that night at the Lake Oconee Ritz Carlton consisted of a YUMMY black Angus burger with all the trimmings but no bun-sooo good. I made a no sugar cheesecake and created a crust out of Bob's Red Mill almond flour (all it consists of is blanched almonds). I crumbled some of my no sugar chocolate bars on top and added sliced strawberries. The chocolate bars arrived yesterday and truly are amazing. Go Ross chocolates. I want the scale to go down or at least stay the same, so I think I'm going to be a bit stricter tomorrow.

DAY 43: 169 lbs.
Yay! Finally just skimming by into the 160's. LAST day on the VLCD!! Been making a few no sugar, no starch goodies for tomorrow. Have not cheated. Would love to see another good drop tomorrow morning. All I can seem to think about is scrambled eggs w/ my smoked Gouda cheese and lean bacon for breakfast...HA! And for lunch, the phase 3 zucchini lasagna from the HCG online cookbook sounds great...and me and hubby's big date tomorrow night, so probably a yummy steak for dinner. Looking forward to my all natural, sugar free dark chocolate coming from amazon.com tomorrow. The reviews on it were awesome-how it truly tastes like the real thing. Can't wait to find out. Who knows? Wouldn't it be neat if I came up with some yummy, chocolaty, sugar/starch free goodies for all my HCG friends to enjoy? Keep you posted on the ones I made tonight. They have to "set up" in the fridge overnight. All I can say is...chocolaty and nutty...they look and smell yummy! Finally tomorrow, I'll be able to blog about if they taste yummy! And the beauty of it will be, they are all on phase 3! Hey-that rhymes!:)

DAY 41-42: 170 lbs.
So, second day off the HCG because we have a big July 4th thing this Friday night and I wanted Friday to be my first day of being able to eat what I want except no starches no sugars (phase 3). Yes, I stopped the HCG on the 39th day instead of the 40th, but with me at this plateau of 170lbs., was it really going to make that big of a difference? Especially after everything I blogged about yesterday and still no drop? Today, I taught TWO 1 hour water aerobics classes and of course, adhered strictly to DAY #2 on the VLCD (very low calorie diet). We'll see if that helps my numbers on the scale in the morning. I just can't believe I have been at 170 this long.

DAY 40: 170 lbs.
I so badly wanted to be back in the 160's by this day but I WILL be! My hubby is out with a friend tonight. The kids are down and I hadn't eaten yet and found my taste buds wanting food other than what I can have! So, I immediately went and put on the killer dress I blogged about a few days ago for our hot date this Friday night. The one that JUST fits to remind myself that I want it to STILL fit on Friday and always.
My willpower is weak if I am hungry, so I ate a yummy piece of lean sirloin I had grilled in liquid smoke and other seasonings and some cukes in a great dill marinade. Now I am going to go jump on the trampoline and do some sit ups and push ups and tricep dips.

DAY 39: 172 lbs.
Can't complain after my cheat today. Met with my friend, Bonnie, today and she told me she lost 9 more pounds in the 3 week maintenance phase. That would be awesome! We shall see!

DAY 38: 171 lbs.
Although glad to see the scale back down, I am really disappointed about this yo-yo thing. I should be further down. Well, I think I was really subconsciously down about this more than I realized, was tired of the diet and a bit discouraged. We had some friends over tonight and I cheated. Can't believe I'm saying it, but I did. I had some of my homemade, organic mac 'n' cheese that I made for everyone, more than my 100 gram portion of chicken from the grill and two oatmeal raisin chocolate cookies. Oh, and 3 or 4 chips w/ cheese dip on them. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in myself. This close to the end and had to cheat like that. All I can do is repent (which means changing your mind), get back up and finish this thing out. I really had high hopes of my goal of 157 pounds and I think I just knew there was no way it was going to happen with only 2 days left, so I threw in the towel early.
